2. Image Processing & Data Handling

All image processing on mypictools.com is performed 100% client-side in your web browser using HTML5 Canvas, Web Workers, and ONNX runtime. Your images are never uploaded to our servers for processing. They remain entirely on your device at all times.

• Images are processed locally in your browser using JavaScript
• No image data is transmitted to any server during processing
• AI model files (e.g., background removal) are cached in your browser's IndexedDB for performance
• Processed images are downloaded directly from your browser — we never see them

3. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information to operate the service:

• Session Cookie: An anonymous session identifier stored as a cookie to track your free tier usage (up to 10 images/day). No personal information is stored.
• Job History: A record of tools used and processing status stored in our database. This contains tool name, file size, and timestamps — never the actual image content.
• Payment Data: If you purchase Premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a session token but never see your credit card details.

4. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to store your anonymous session ID. This cookie is necessary for the service to function and is not used for tracking or advertising. We do not use third-party analytics cookies or tracking pixels.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe: For processing Premium payments. Stripe handles all payment data securely and is PCI DSS compliant.
• Hugging Face: AI models (like RMBG-1.4) are downloaded from the Hugging Face model hub and cached in your browser.

6. Data Retention

Session data and job history are retained for 30 days. After this period, anonymous records are automatically deleted. If you wish to have your data deleted sooner, please contact us at hello@mypictools.com.
